Tahir Raj Bhasin took the audience by storm by playing the antagonist in Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani. Taking ahead the legacy, Vishal Jethwa left the audience shocked as he stepped into Tahir’s shoes to play the villain in Mardaani 2.
Recently in an exclusive chat with Koimoi, Tahir opened up on how he saw the film and reached out to Vishal to appreciate him. The actor also expressed his happiness for director Gopi Puthran who wrote the first part and made his directorial debut with Mardaani 2.
When Tahir Raj Bhasin was asked if he has seen Mardaani 2, he said, “Yes I have seen Mardaani 2. In fact, I even got in touch with the antagonist of the film (Vishal Jethwa). I told him it was a great job done, even if I say so myself, it was a difficult act to follow but he did a really great job.”

He added, “And I was really happy for Gopi Puthran who is the director of Mardaani 2, wrote the first part. I remember meeting him a lot on the sets and he wrote Karan Rastogi. So I was really happy for him that this was the first film he directed.”
