Eminem, 50 Cent & Stars of ‘Southpaw’ Shine At Premiere

‘Southpaw’ got a glittering premiere & a fitting guest list of plenty of boxers in New York with the film’s star studded team creating suitable levels of frenzy.

Eminem, whose Phenomenal track has set the charts on fire, and is executive producing the film, turned up in his signature hoodie; 50 Cent, who also co stars in this boxing drama, also attended.

The film’s stars Jake Gyllenhal and Rachel McAdams posed together, while speaking about their preparation for this film. Gyllenhal has spent 5 months training, bulking up, boxing till he gets sore, and visited multiple prize fights (including a couple of Mayweather bouts) to get in the psyche of a boxer. Rachel has spent time with wives of boxers & socialised with them to prepare.

Co starring Ricky Ortiz, a real life boxer, this film is expected to get Gyllenhal a couple of nominations for best actor.
