The sheer portrayal of Devdas, gone saddened in love after his separation from his ladylove Paro, his inert addiction towards alcohol and his desire to seek redress at Chandramukhi’s darbar. Devdas is and will always be Dilipji’s exceptional and splendiferous act.
Based on the lines of post-independence industrialization topic, Naya Daur, was a very applauded movie of Dilip Sahab. Starring opposite Vyjayanthimala, Dilip Kumar as the striving for survival, tangawala, did full justice to the role. The movie was even re-released in colour in the year 2007.

After losing his family in a murderous act by Dr. Dang (Anupam Kher), jailer Vishwa Pratap Singh (Dilip Kumar) revenges their deaths by training three criminals. Dilip Kumar donned the role too well.
