“I am paying 15 crores income tax from last 5 years and still I have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office Narendra Modi,” Kapil tweeted.

In another tweet, Kapil asked Modi if these are the “acche din” (better days) he had promised.

“Yeh hain aapke achhe din? Narendra Modi,” he added.

Within few hours, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis responded to Kapil’s tweets and asked him to provide all information in this regard and promised that the culprits would not be spared.

Kapil is an ardent fan of Modi and was nominated for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign. His contribution was acknowledged by President Pranab Mukherjee at a function held in Rashtrapati Bhavan in September last year.
