In a recent interview with Film Companion, Vijay has revealed the reason for visiting Mumbai. He said, “I’ve come to meet Karan. He wanted to watch Dear Comrade. We’ve been meeting and he has become a friend and he has bought the film. Dear Comrade will be remade in Hindi, I won’t be doing it. So that was why I was here.”
