While this is one of the speculated reasons behind Inshallah getting shelved as Sanjay Leela Bhansali doesn’t like anyone’s interference, the actor is said to be deeply involved in the making of much-anticipated prequel Dabangg 3.
Apart from acting and inputs to the script, it is learnt that Salman Khan is looking into every shot and editing of the movie as well along with director Prabhudheva.
A source close to the development states that, “This has been the trend from Dabangg to Dabangg 2 and now for Dabangg 3. Salman’s contribution has been increasing. In Dabangg 3, he could be billed as co-director if he wants, as his contribution is high,” reports Deccan Chronicle.
As Dabangg 3 is his home production, the actor is making sure that it turns out to be as expected and not like his recent mediocre releases. “This is Salman’s home production. He has every right to decide the final shape of the film. Even when he does outside films, directors take his advice on the final editing,” the source.

Salman, who is known as Godfather to many in Bollywood, is all set to introduce daughter of his friend Mahesh Manjrekar, Saiee Manjrekar, in Dabangg 3.
He recently, at the red carpet of IIFA 2019, spoke to the media about her. He said, “She is really good that’s why she is in ‘Dababgg 3’, and her father worked in first part of ‘Dabangg’. You know the strange thing that a few years back, we introduced Sonakshi (Sinha) in IIFA on a ramp and today, we introduce Saiee.”
