Vidyut Jammwal is back with another action film, and his loyal set of audiences are back in the theaters to watch him. Crakk earned 4.11 crore on its opening day. However, Vidyut’s day 1 box office is lower than his first-ever opening day! Yes, you read that right.
The action superstar, whose first appearance on the silver screen was in Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn’s film Insan as a background dance in 2005, made his film debut with a Telugu film titled Sakthi in 2011. However, he made his Hindi debut as the lead antagonist in John Abraham’s Force in 2011, and there was no looking back for him.
Vidyut Jammwal is an action star, and Crakk’s opening box office is already his third-highest opener. However, even his opening film at the box office was not far behind when it came to numbers. We tried running through some stats, and these figures might surprise you.
Vidyut Jammwal’s first-ever opening day was with Force, and the film collected 5 crore. So Crakk earned almost 17.8% lower than Vidyut’s first opening day at the box office.
Vidyut’s Solo Opening Day
While Force was Vidyut’s debut as an antagonist, his solo debut as an action star came with Commando in 2013, and the film earned 3.7 crore at the box office. Crakk registered a slightly better opening, almost 11% higher than Vidyut’s solo opening day.

Vidyut’s highest opening day and Crakk’s day 1 box office collection stand at a difference of an average of 22.4%. While the actor’s highest opener is Commando 3 with 5.15 crore, Crakk is only a crore behind with 4.11 crore on opening day.
Only 6.3 Times Collection
Vidyut Jammwal’s opening film at the box office, Force, collected only 26 crore in its lifetime and was an average performer. So, in order to match his first film, the actor needs to earn only 6.3 times than Friday’s opening collection of 4.11 crore.
Hopefully, with a good word of mouth, the film will grow over the weekend. For the unversed, Crakk also stars Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi, and Amy Jackson in the lead roles and is helmed by Aditya Datt.
