BREAKING! Sushant Singh Rajput Case: SC Gives A Green Signal To CBI

All eyes were glued to the Supreme Court’s verdict on the Sushant Singh Rajput case. As per the latest update, the SC has given a green signal to CBI to carry out the investigation. Ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhanda and sister Shweta Singh Kirti have reacted to the same as well.
Supreme Court has ordered Central Bureau of Investigation to take over the Sushant Singh Rajput case. As for the petition filed by Rhea Chakraborty to transfer the investigation from Bihar police to Mumbai, the court ordered that Bihar police will be competent to hand over the case to CBI.
As per a Time Of India report, the court has also said that Mumbai Police will still have the jurisdiction of the case. However, the Mumbai Police is ordered to hand over all the evidence of the case to the CBI, who will be taking the probe ahead.
Lawyer Vikas Singh in a TOI report said, “This is a victory for Sushant Singh Rajput’s family. SC ruled on all points in our favour. The Court also clearly said that the FIR registered at Patna was correct.”
Reacting to the same is Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande who wrote, Justice is the truth in action. Truth wins …. #1ststeptossrjustice”. Sister Shweta Singh Kirti wrote, “Thank you God! You have answered our prayers!! But it is just the beginning… the first step towards the truth! Full faith on CBI!! #Victoryoffaith #GlobalPrayersForSSR #Wearefamily #CBITakesOver”.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14, 2020. Since then a lot has happened around the actor’s demise. Many people including family, friends, industry folks, girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty have been probed.
