Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been admitted to hospital. Amid the on-going coronavirus, a tense situation arose as the actor complained of breathlessness. The incident took place on Saturday. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Below are all the details.
Sanjay, earlier in the day, faced discomfort in his chest. Owing to the same, the KGF 2 actor had been facing issues in breathing. As soon as he witnessed low oxygen saturation levels, Dutt was rushed to Lilavati hospital. It is being said that a COVID-19 test had been conducted too.
The good news is that the rapid antigen COVID test turned out negative. That came in as a huge sigh of relief of Sanjay Dutt and his family members as well as fans. However, since the test has low specificity, chances are that it could be missing a positive case. To ensure the same, a swab has been collected for confirmatory RT-PCR test.
ANI broke the news a while ago through their Twitter account. Their tweet read, “Actor Sanjay Dutt (in file pic) admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness. His COVID-19 report is negative but he is still there for some time just for medical observation. He is perfectly fine: Lilavati hospital, Mumbai, Maharashtra.”

The actor himself a while ago too shared that he is fine. Sanjay Dutt tweeted, “Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings”

Meanwhile, the doctors treating Dutt have revealed that the actor has been admitted to a non-COVID ward. Furthermore, they have shared that a couple of more tests are being conducted for assessment.
