Brahmastra: Ayan Mukerji Isn’t Announcing The Release Date Of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt Starrer Because Of THIS Reason?

Ayan Mukerji took the whole country by storm when he announced his next project Brahmastra. The fans were quite eager to see lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on the big screen but their dreams shattered when the team announced that they would be shifting the release date.

The team had already unveiled the logo of the film in the most dramatic way and announced that the film will be releasing on December 25, 2019, but later changed it for reasons unknown. Buzz was that the team of Brahmastra did not want to clash with Salman Khan’s Dabangg, considering the successful reach of the franchise.

But Ayan has finally spoken about the delay and why he is yet not going to announce the release date. Speaking to Zoom, Ayan said that they are looking for a middle season release but he isn’t announcing any date as he does want to disappoint the fans.

He said, ” We launched the logo of Brahmastra and even unveiled the release date of the film in March. But later we realised that the film is a very big scale film. Maybe you will understand that when you actually watch it in theatres. There is a lot of visual effects, the technology needed to make the film look good. So to make the film correctly, we needed more time. Hence, we had to shift the date.”
