Just take a look at their latest Kunal Khemu-Amrita Puri starrer offering, Blood Money. The film, directed by Vishal Mahadkar, is about Kunal and his wife Arzoo who shift to Cape Town after Kunal gets a job with a well-known diamond export firm. Thanks to the job Kunal gets a plush mansion, a swanky new car and all the luxuries money can procure. However, gradually, Kunal finds himself getting trapped into a structural white-collar crime conglomerate.
Sounds familiar? It looks like the makers have taken a little inspiration from the Leonardo DiCaprio starrer Blood Diamond? We’re sure that the Bhatts have conveniently desi-fied the film, but we can’t help but notice similarities in their plots.
Heck even the first poster of Blood Money they released was a page out of the poster of The Time Traveler’s Wife!
Maybe once you see the movie, we can actually decide where they have borrowed more from!
