While Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal is storming the box office, there’s another movie, Batla House, starring John Abraham & Mrunal Thakur which released today and is attracting audiences at the ticket windows. The movie based on real-life incident, i.e, the 2008 Batla House encounter case in Delhi, is being massively appreciated, especially for its portrayal and impactful dialogues.

Now, talking about the morning occupancy, the movie unlike John Abraham’s last Independence Day release, Satyameva Jayate, is slightly behind in terms of the advance bookings and the occupancy at theatres. As per the early trends following in, Batla House is witnessing a morning occupancy of around 30-35%, which was expected considering the advance booking trends in the previous days.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal with 55-60% morning occupancy is clearly dauting the ticket windows and dominating this John Abraham starrer, this Independence Day. Hopefully, the footfall will increase in the evening, because that will highly determine its pace at the box office in coming days.
