With every hearing, the Salman Khan 2002 hit and run case is getting twisted. As the trial proceeded yesterday, the bar manager of a Juhu liquor bar was presented in court. The manager even though identifying the actor and his presence in the bar that night maintained that he was unsure if he saw the actor drinking.
In an interaction with the prosecutor, the bar manager stated that the actor did not seem drunk and could even walk properly. The bar manager stated that the actor was spotted with a glass of colorless liquid like water in hand.
Earlier too a waiter from the same bar had issued a statement of Salman being present at the bar with friends although it was not sure if the actor consumed any drinks.
The bar manager’s statement defied the prosecution’s accusation of Salman being drunk on the night of the accident. The matter is still subjudice and only the further hearing will unfold the actor’s fate.
