Anil Kapoor Talks About Being Criticised For Being Hairy & Looking Like A Kid During Initial Days Of His Career

Today, Pagalpanti stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D’cruz, Kriti Kharbanda, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, and Urvashi Rautela launched the song ‘Kyu Ki Hum Hai Atke’ from the film. The actors were their candid best at the event held in Mumbai.

At the launch, Anil Kapoor was asked what was the craziest criticism he faced at the start of his career. The Welcome actor answered, “I’m known for three things now, but these three were seen negatively at the start of my career. Someone said ‘Iske Baal bohot jyada hai yaar (He is too hairy), Bohot chota lagta hai (looks like a kid)’. The third one ‘jhakaas‘ which I said in Yudh that was written by one of the assistants. When I saw it, I felt like a small kid in a school play is saying it.”

He added, “I never imagined that this word will become so big. But never take any criticism (to heart). Criticism keeps happening. You have to keep working and prove yourself with your work.”
