It has not been a happy time for people in Bollywood this year. Since the passing away of Sushant Singh Rajput, the industry has been a target for several reasons. Now, people have slammed the film industry for supporting Rhea Chakraborty and are trending #BoycottBollywoodFilms.
It all started when yesterday, NCB arrested the Jalebi actress for procuring drugs. A lot of SSR fans and the late actor’s family celebrated the move. However, the Bollywood fraternity wasn’t happy with the treatment Rhea’s getting.
A lot of celebs like Anurag Kashyap, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Farhan Akhtar, and many others came out in her support. They extended their support and opposed her arrest with the text that was written on her t-shirt yesterday. It reads, “Roses are red, violets are blue. Let’s smash the patriarchy, me and you.” This didn’t go down well with many Twitterati who started trending #BoycottBollywoodFilms.
