On March 15, it was reported that Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai in the morning. Some reports mentioned the actor underwent angioplasty in the morning. However, later, some reports mentioned that the hospital source had said it was just a routine check-up. The Brahmastra actor was discharged from the hospital the same day. Now, it looks like Mr Bachchan has called the news of undergoing angioplasty surgery “fake news”.

Last evening, Amitabh Bachchan was spotted at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane. The Kaun Banega Crorepati host attended the final match of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL). The game took place between Majhi Mumbai and Tigers of Kolkata. After the match, Senior Bachchan was exiting the stadium when a paparazzo asked him about his health.

In a video that’s now going viral on the internet, when the pap asked Amitabh about his health, the megastar gestured and said, “All good”. Bachchan leaned and said, “Fake news”, smiling and walking ahead. Does this mean the news of him undergoing angioplasty is fake? Well, looking at him all fit and fine at the match event shows that he’s healthy.
