Amitabh Bachchan is a living legend synonymous with Bollywood. Over the decades, he has done innumerable movies with his angry young man persona on screen and that baritone voice. Most probably around the time when Amitabh Bachchan was doing Aetbaar with John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, he appeared on Rendezvous with Simi Garewal with his family. Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan accompanied the Pink actor. Host Simi Garewal shared the BTS clip on her Instagram handle, where Amitabh told them about John’s conjunctivitis while filming.

And as soon as he revealed that John had conjunctivitis, Simi ordered everyone not to touch anything Amitabh Bachchan had touched. Otherwise, they’d contract it. Amitabh Bachchan immediately responded to the subtle scolding and defended himself. He said, “Maine toh kiya hi nahi kuch.”
He continued, Sari, touching toh Bipasha karti hai, main thode na karta hun.” Bipasha and John had some intimate scenes in the film. Amitabh Bachchan saying that with a straight face has left the netizens in splits. The comment section erupted with amusing comments.

For the unversed, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu reportedly started dating during the filming of Jism, and they were one of the hottest Bollywood couples. After dating for years, they broke up around 2011. Bipasha is currently married to the Fighter star Karan Singh Grover, and the couple even have a daughter together.
