We keep reading about stars getting waxed for the museums around the world. Akshay Kumar has never had a statue before, but it’s happening for the first time and it has a very emotional reason connected to it. Jaipur Wax Museum (JWM) at Nahargarh fort will be the first museum to erect Akshay’s wax statue.

It’s been reported that the statue will weigh a hefty 52 kilograms and is heightened at 5ft 11inches. The statue has been made by a sculpting team of a museum from China. As far as the outfit of the statue is concerned, we’ll see Akshay in a three-piece suit.

Akshay Kumar’s First Ever Wax Statue Unveiled; It’s Emotional Connect Will Surely Move You!

In a conversation with TOI, the founder-director of JWM, Anoop Srivastava said, “We don’t just follow glamour while deciding the installation of a celebrity statue. At the museum, our aim has always been to inspire the next generation through the installed wax statue’s story. Akshay Kumar has been a source of inspiration for millions. His story is that of rags to riches and his approach towards movies has evolved with time. His active participation in making movies with a social message and his involvement in the Army welfare funding activities made us select him for our museum instead of popular actors.”

The emotional connect with the statue is a 12-year-old Jaipur boy Mudit Bhataiya. He was a huge fan of Akshay before he passed away, fighting with a rare disorder muscular dystrophy. Mudit struggled for seven long years and Akshay during that time made sure to meet him whenever he was in Jaipur. Akshay also had invited Mudit and his family to Mumbai on his 12th birthday.
