Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar, who is currently busy shooting for Robot 2, will begin the shooting for Kaththi remake in Chennai which is titled Ikka. The film will be produced by A. R. Murugadoss.
After Robot 2, Akshay Kumar will wrap-up the shooting of Rustom and post that he will start the shooting of Ikka from August this year.

According to the report from a leading daily, Murugadoss is currently re-scripting and structuring the film as per the North Indian set-up. Akshay Kumar will play a double role in the film.

The major portions of the movie will be shot in Chennai and the film will be directed by Murugadoss’ associate Jagan.
