Akshay Kumar may return to the Welcome franchise for the third installment of the film. We hear that after sorting out his differences with Firoz Nadiadwala, the Airllift actor agreed to star in the sequel to Awara Pagal Deewana. Along with this film, he has also been approached for another project with the same banner and buzz is that it is Welcome 3.
Currently, the script of the film is being finalized and if things fall in place, the third installment of Welcome will star Akshay along with John Abraham. Also Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor will be reprising their roles.
At the moment, Akshay is shooting for his upcoming film Rustom which is is written by Neeraj Pandey and Vipul Rawal and is slated to release in the Independence week this year.
