Sharing the teaser to Bear Grylls’ Into The Wild episode that will feature him, Akshay Kumar captioned the video as, “I knew there would be stiff challenges prior to #IntoTheWildWithBearGrylls but @beargrylls completely surprised me with the elephant poop tea. What a day! @discoverychannelin @discoveryplusindia.”
Airing on Discovery+, the episode of Bear Grylls’ Into The Wild featuring Akshay Kumar will premier on September 11 and will air on the Discovery Channel on September 14. The episode was reportedly shot early this year at Mysuru’s Bandipur Tiger Reserve.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Akshay Kumar is currently in the UK shooting for Bell Bottom. Set in the backdrop of 1980s, Bell Bottom features Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta alongside Akshay Kumar. It is being reported that the film is revolving around the forgotten heroes of India. Directed by Ranjit M Tewari and written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh, the film is scheduled to release on April 2, 2021.
