Akshay Kumar is riding high on the success of Mission Mangal as it has proved to be the second-highest opening of this year in Bollywood after Salman Khan’s Bharat. Akshay is all booked for almost 2 years with back to back big releases like Good News opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sooryavanshi opposite Rohit Shetty and the latest addition is Sajid Nadiadwala’s, Bachchan Pandey.
In a recent interview with Spotboye, Akshay was asked about being in the Forbes highest-paid Indian celebrity list to which he replied, “Achha lagta hain or plus kabhi socha nahi tha, aisa din bhi ayega ki ek Chandni Chowk ke ladke ko aisa mauka milega; Forbes ke andar ane ke liye. Bhagwan ka dhanywaad karta hoon and I feel humbled about it. But you know, you get these wild dreams, toh wild dreams me bhi nahi ata tha kabhi, aisi chize. Ab bas ho gaya!”
