The Khiladi star, Akshay Kumar extends his helping hand to the farmers of Maharashtra who are suffering from drought by donating 90 lacs.
According to this noble mission, which was initiated in the presence of Vishwas Nangre Patil, the IG of Beed district & Akshay’s representative Vedant Bali, 30 farmers from each district will get 50,000 Rs for next 6 months.

His wife tweeted saying : Mr K (Akshay) makes hay when the sun shines & that helps him to do this when drought strikes-every bit helps-pitch in folks!

After celebs like Nana Patekar, Makarand Anaspure & cricketer Ajinkya Rahane extended their financial support to farmers, the ‘Singh Is Bliing‘ actor Akshay Kumar also came forward to contribute in this noble cause.
