Aamir Khan who supported Tiger Shroff for his debut flick ‘Heropanti‘ last year, is now all set to lend his support to Tiger’s younger sister Krishna Shroff by backing her documentary which she directed.
Last year Aamir turned Godfather of star kid Tiger Shroff as he doled out his valuable suggestions to him when he was preparing for his role in his debut flick ‘Heropanti’ & also attended his trailer launch.
Now, Aamir has extended his support to Krishna Shroff, by co-producing her documentary which is based on the life of Transgenders.
The 22-year old film maker Krishna Shroff, “Aamir sir is very close to our family and he knows about my documentary film. My mother (Ayesha Shroff) showed him some raw footage and he liked it.”
The documentary was scheduled to release in January this year, but it got delayed due to some extended work in Post-Production, on which she explained, “We got a lot more footage than expected. So, the editing process is taking time. We shall release the film next year.”
Krishna Shroff wants to show her film to Aamir Khan before throwing it to an wider audience as an official release. On this thought she shares,”Aamir sir is quite aware of social issues and I am sure his inputs on my documentary based on the struggles of transgenders will help. Though I know he has a busy schedule, I will request him to watch the entire film and give his feedback before its release. One can expect honest opinions from him.”
