Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, who last directed the multi-starrer gangster flick Shootout At Wadala, is now all geared up to direct another crime drama. Titled Mumbai Saga, the film will revolve around the underworld, the police and the politics set in the 80’s and 90’s.
Gupta took to Twitter to make an official announcement of the same. Tweeted Sanjay Gupta, “Mumbai Saga is the title of my new film. It is an epic crime saga set in the 80’s and 90’s. Mumbai Saga is my most ambitious film to date. Action, drama, deceit, betrayal, powerplay, politics, crime, cops and gangsters are the keywords.”
The man further revealed the starcast of the film and wrote, “For now most of the cast of Shootout at Wadala will be retained in Mumbai Saga and some new will also join. Too soon to reveal more!”
