Now, here’s an interesting scoop for all you Bolly fans. If reports are to be believed, Salman Khan is keen to do much more than acting in Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming family drama. It is heard that the 49 year old actor has insisted on supervising the edit process of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘.
According to a leading daily, a few days ago, rough footage spanning 150-odd minutes were shown to the cast and crew. Though the overall feedback on the footage was positive, Salman insisted that to be involved in the final edit. Recently, Salman has monitored the edit of ‘Hero‘, which stars debutantes Sooraj Pancholi & Athiya Shetty.
PRDP‘s schedule will be wrapped soon and after that it will go to the post production stage.
A source close to the actor told Mid-Day, “Having been in the industry for so long, Salman has great experience and insight, and supervised Hero’s editing. As far as ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘ is concerned, he has been keeping an eye on the footage after every shot. However, it is not like he wants to call the shots. Sooraj Barjatya and his assistants will also be part of the editing. Like any other actor, he suggests changes and at times, they are incorporated as well.”
‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘ which also stars Sonam Kapoor & Neil Nitin Mukesh is slated to release on 12th November 2015.
