After Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb & Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj, Varun Dhawan & Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No. 1 To Have An OTT Release

It seems like this global pandemic isn’t ending anytime soon. A while ago, Hotstar made a huge announcement with Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn announcing that their upcoming films – Laxmmi Bomb and Bhuj: The Pride Of India – will be now releasing on their OTT platform. Now, Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No. 1 may have the same fate.
According to the latest reports, the film is also headed to the OTT platform and mostly will premiere on Amazon Prime.
Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No. 1 is one of the most anticipated films of this year and fans have been desperately waiting for this fun duo to work their magic on silver screens.
Amazon Prime Video’s last big release was Shakuntala Devi starring Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles.
This is the first time when Varun and Sara are collaborating for a film. While we have already seen the poster of Coolie No. 1, we can’t wait for their funny jugalbandi to release on our screens soon. Besides Varun and Sara. the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffrey, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Sahil Vaid and Shikha Talsania.
Coolie No. 1 is a remake of David Dhawan’s 1995 film of the same name. The original starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in lead with Harish Kumar, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor and others in pivotal roles.
