All Is Well starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Asin and Supriya Pathak in key roles is all set to hit the theaters this Friday and well, the family film certainly does not have a good backing from the music department at least. Multiple composers come together for this album but fail to pack a punch.

Chaar Shanivaar – All Is Well Music Review

The most popular track from this album is certainly Chaar Shanivaar. The peppy beats and the zealous singing of Vishal Dadlani makes this a foot tapping number. It takes a huge inspiration from the South tastes of Dappan Koothu which is mainly a percussion based composition. This is a fun number that is sure to get you dancing and a sure shot hit for the clubs.

Baaton Ko Teri – All Is Well Music Review

Arijit Singh croons the sad song in the All Is Well album. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya, there is quite a different feel to this song. The lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed are poignant but they fail to create any magic when blended together with the music and vocals. Not one of the finest numbers from this album.

Nachan Farrate – All Is Well Music Review

Once again, Meet Brothers Anjjan come together with Kanika Kapoor for a typical Punjabi track Nachan Farrate. The song sounds just like their previous ventures together and is honestly boring halfway through its course. Sonakshi Sinha performs in it and unless you have liking for the video, I would not suggest you to listen to this repetitive number. It is a dance number that may find an audience at wedding sangeets.

Mere Humsafar – All Is Well Music Review

Composer Mithoon revamps the Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak classic ‘Aye Mere Humsafar‘ and it is not half as bad. He himself croons the song along with Tulsi Kumar on the female vocals. Maintaining a soft a pace for this soulful number, the composer keeps it pleasant. It is a decent hear if you like the original one as well.

Tu Milade – All Is Well Music Review

This is Himesh Reshammiya’s second composition in the album. Tu Milade is on the somber side and Ankit Tiwari gets behind the mike of this one. It is quite similar to the songs one would find in Bhatt films and hence does not prove to be much impressive.

YOLO – All Is Well Music Review

Indian Idol fame Sreeramchandra sings the Punjabi pop number YOLO. The song has typical beats and reminds us of popular Punjabi numbers such as Amplifier by Imran Khan or Honey Singh’s Brown Rang but mind you it is not as entertaining as any of these. Unless this song has some worthy purpose in the film, it is a waste in the album.

The Last Word – All Is Well Music Review

The All Is Well album is completely average. Chaar Shanivaar is the only song that actually stands out. Even though the album has six tracks, there is not much choice for the listener thanks to the mediocrity. I am going with a 2/5 for this album.
