When Aamir Khan ’s Dangal collected an unprecedented 1205 crores at the China Box Office, everyone was surprised, to say the least. The film’s popularity in China helped the movie in collecting a total of approximately 1899.35 crores ,almost reaching the 2000 crore mark. It seems Salman Khan has understood this formula too! With Bajrangi Bhaijaan collecting an impressive 233.68 crores at the China Box Office, we speculate whether the actor will release Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan in China as well.

When Aamir Khan once again impressed the Chinese audience with Secret Superstar, Indian filmmakers started realizing the huge potential of the Chinese film market, when it came to Bollywood movies.

Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan Opens Up Gates For His Other Films In China? Can He Overtake Aamir Khan?

Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ success in China has definitely opened up the gates for the actor’s other films. With Hollywood popularity in China slowly starting to fade, the Chinese audience is starting to embrace Indian films, which earlier used to be a niche genre. It has already been proved that emotionally driven films have gained a widespread popularity in China like Dangal and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. This raises the question, if Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai are released in China and will Salman Khan overtake Aamir Khan? With the latter’s huge success it might be a challenging task, but with Salman’s increasing popularity in China and his films getting rave reviews from critics and audience alike, it is definitely possible.

Currently, Aamir Khan is filming for Thugs of Hindostan, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in leading roles. Salman on the other hand, will be next seen in Race 3 alongside Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah. The film releases on 15 June.
