Even In Its 5th Week At The Box Office; Tiger Zinda Hai Is Still Ruling The Theaters

When Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan united for Sultan in 2016, we knew it was going to be special. When they reunited for Tiger Zinda Hai, the duo proved how Sultan was just the beginning. Tiger Zinda Hai has been continuing to break records since its release and roar at the theatres.

Even after the release of Padmaavat it does not seem like the movie will come to a standstill at the box office. The movie is currently in its 5th week and is still minting money. Speaking about the box office figures of Tiger Zinda Hai it has collected 3.83 crores till Wednesday i.e. 24th of January, its total collection stood at 335.33 crores now.

Tiger Zinda Hai is more than just a special movie for the cast of the film. It is Katrina Kaif’s as well as Salman Khan’s highest grossing movie till date. Also, Salman’s 3rd movie to enter the 300 crore club. Speaking of Yash Raj Films’, it’s their highest grosser ever. Tiger Zinda Hai is Ali Abbas Zafar’s second movie after Sultan to enter in the 300 crore club. This does not get over yet, Tiger Zinda Hai has many more records to its name.

Backed by Yash Raj Films (YRF), the film is a sequel to the Kabir Khan-directed Ek Tha Tiger and marks the return of Salman and Katrina together on-screen after five years.

Made on a budget of Rs 150 crore, including advertising and publicity, Tiger Zinda Hai released on the 22nd of December last year in 4,600 screens all across India and 1,100 screens abroad.
