The motion poster of Akshay Kumar starrer The Shaukeens is out. A remake of a 1982 Basu Chatterjee classic, the film stars Piyush Mishra, Annu Kapoor and Anupam Kher in lead roles alongside Akshay Kumar and Lisa Haydon. The film is directed by Abhishek Sharma and is slated to release sometime this year. Shot in exquisite locales of Mauritius, the film is a modern day take on the classic.
