Filmistaan on its 1st Tuesday surprisingly witnessed a growth in its numbers. Resting its Day 5 collections at 56 lacs, the film’s total income so far stands at 3.91 crores at the domestic box office.

Featuring the brilliant Sharib Hashmi in the lead role, the film is about Bollywood bridging gaps and bruises that politics has inflicted on people. The film’s tone is simple and uncomplicated. Nitin Kakkar infuses a terrific vocabulary in his narrative which makes the film brilliant.
