Chennai Express: 3rd Week Box Office Collections

Chennai Express, made a business of approx 17.50 crores at the Domestic Box Office in its 3rd week. This SRK-Deepika Padukone starrer now stands at a domestic total of about 218 crores at the Box Office.

Its Box Office run in its 3rd week was quite stable. The movie picked up well on 3rd weekend and saw a usual drop on 3rd Monday. However, the collections saw a slight escalation after Tuesday and Wednesday, all thanks to the semi-holiday of Janmashtami and Dahi Handi Festival.

But the film will now start witnessing a major drop from this week, as it entered its 4th Week at the Box Office. Also, the film will lose out more screens to this week’s multi-starrer Satyagraha and also the John Abraham starrer Madras Cafe, which is performing well too!
