Mahavatar Narsimha has surprised everyone with its run so far. Amid the storm of Saiyaara, the film made its place and became a juggernaut at the Indian box office. After concluding the second weekend on a rocking note, it has shown an excellent hold on the second Monday, thus making it clear that the collections won’t be slowing down anytime soon. How much did Mahavatar Narsimha earn at the Indian box office in 11 days?

After a decent start, the animated film based on an Indian mythology went from strength to strength due to extraordinary word-of-mouth. It amassed an impressive 45.12 crores during the opening week. In the second weekend, it picked up tremendously and earned an unbelievable 44.87 crores. Again, on the second Monday, it earned a solid 6.8 crores.

Compared to the second Friday’s collection of 7.5 crores, Mahavatar Narsimha dropped by just 9.33%. With such a trend on day 11, the film is expected to stay rock steady on the remaining weekdays of the second week. Overall, it has earned 96.44 crore net (all languages) at the Indian box office. Including GST, the gross collection stands at 113.79 crores.

So, with 3.56 crores more, it’ll become the first Indian animated film to enter the 100 crore club. This feat will be achieved today very comfortably.

Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the Indian animated film was released in theatres on 25 July. It is running in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam. Out of all languages, the film has turned out to be an epic blockbuster in the Hindi language, while in Telugu, it is a good success story.
