Agneepath Day One Final Tally: Rs 23 Crore

The final tally of the first day’s collections of the Hrithik Roshan-starrer Agneepath is Rs. 23 crore (all-India net) and not Rs. 25 crore as had been reported by us in a report filed at 12 noon IST on January 27, 2012.
Speaking to Koimoi.com Karan Johar said, “The collections of Agneepath in the circuits of Bombay, Maharashtra, C.P. and C.I. have been better than the other record-breaking films. However, due to the cold wave in North India, the collections of Delhi and U.P. were not as inspiring.”
This means that though Agneepath has broken the opening record of Salman Khan-starrer Bodyguard (Rs. 21 crore), the record for the highest single day collections still stays with Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One (Rs. 25.10 crore).

it is seriously a good masala movie with a soul,,,awsome movie with even better performances,,,watch it for sure,,,23 cr is awsome considering it was released in almost 900 less screens than ra1

It is great that the record of the most idiotic movie of 2011 Bodyguard has been broken.Ra.One broke the record on its second day.When acting is considered,Salman is no match to Shahrukh,Aamir,Ajay,Hrithik and Akshay.Even Saif Ali Khan is better than him.
Just wait and watch for Ek tha Tiger . The opening day record created will blow up you pansies.

i am a big fan of srk and sanjay dutt and in agneepath what a role he has performed in this movie good sanju baba carry on…….
If u compare all other actors with SRK then please include overseas boxoffice collection with Indian collection…..because SRK’s movie done as high in overseas as india……SRK a true global star…..IF u compare this…..then SRK is far ahead then all other bollywood star…..Ra.one weekend 92 crore…DON 2 ( in just 3 days.))weekend 88 crore…bodyguard weekend 89 crore ( in 5 days)……So SRK & SALMAN rocks……..no can beat them…..wait for YASH chopra’s next & EK THA TIGER…..
