Remember ‘Kahaani’, the Vidya Balan film that played out as a true blue thriller set in Kolkata?

Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh returns with ‘Ahalya’, a short film starring the very talented Radhika Apte, Bengali veteran star Soumitra Chatterjee & Tota Roy Chowdhary. ‘Ahalya’, a play on the Ramayanic tale of a woman who turns to stone after she is cursed, feels like a Chekov or Roald Dahl short story. It’s told smartly & is just 14 minutes!

Sujoy will be directing the remake of ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’, with Saif Ali Khan & Aishwarya Rai next, although an official announcement of this film is still awaited.
