The music album of the film is comprised of 6 tracks that includes, Rajj Rajj Ke (sung by Sonakshi Sinha and Vishal Dadlani), Purza (sung by Arijit Singh), Kehkasha Tu Meri (sung by Shekhar Ravjiani), Rajj Rajj Ke (sung by Nahid Afrin and Vishal Dadlani), Baadal (sung by Sunidhi Chauhan) and Rajj Rajj Ke Remix (sung by Nahid Afrin and Vishal Dadlani).

The music of the film is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir and Kumaar.

Akira is directed by A. R. Murugadoss who previosly helmed Ghajini and Holiday. The film stars Sonakshi Sinha, Konkana Sen Sharma and Anurag Kashyap in lead roles and is set to hit the screens on 2nd September, 2016.
