Actor Sidharth Malhotra who is all set to show his versatility with his upcoming film Ek Villain was interviewed about his experience on the film. An excited Sidharth says that the film is unique, intense and his character is very different from any of his previous works.
Talking about his character, he says, “Hats off to Mohit Suri for considering me for this role.” Playing a gangster named ‘Guru’, the actor defines his character as dark and troubled by his past. It is the oscillation between acceptance of happiness and the negativity that Guru has that makes Sidharth’s character difficult.
On the other hand his leading lady Shraddha Kapoor plays a vivacious girl. On the chemistry that they share, Sidharth quips, “Shraddha & I got along very well. She is fun to be with.” Having minimal light moments in the film, Sid states that it is only Shraddha’s character that is lively.
