The father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi fought for our country without choosing violence and left us a very strong message. His teaching holds a very strong place in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s working and to celebrate 150 years of our leader, Modi invited almost the entire Bollywood to discuss new initiatives. In attendance were Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kangana Ranaut amongst others.

Soon after this star-studded meeting, Salman Khan shared a video that stars many Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor talking about Gandhi’s teachings.

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the video also featured Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan educating people with good thoughts. The monochrome video is both dramatic and interesting to watch. Sharing the video on his Twitter account, Salman wrote,” One man changed our entire nation. His thoughts, his legacy will forever live on. Honouring 150 years of Gandhiji.”

Rajkumar Hirani, on the other hand, displayed his elation by writing, “Deeply honoured to have played a small part in showcasing Mahatma Gandhiji’s greatness. Celebrating and saluting 150 years of the Mahatma”. Interestingly, Rajkumar Hirani’s blockbuster film Lage Raho Munna Bhai too was a film based on Gandhi’s principles.

At the event that took place earlier, Narendra Modi was quoted saying, “Gandhi is synonymous with simplicity. His thoughts reverberate far and wide. The power of creativity is immense, and it is essential to harness this spirit of creativity for our nation. Several people from the world of films and television have been doing great work when it comes to popularising the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.”
