On Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s 47th birthday, yesterday, the actor had to appear at Bandra Court. The actor had to face the court for the 2002 hit-and-run case, where Salman’s car had rammed into a bakery in suburban Bandra in northwest Mumbai, killing one and injuring four others who were sleeping on a pavement.
While Salman’s sister and lawyer reached the court, the actor himself wasn’t able to make it. The court had asked Salman to appear personally to answer the charges. Hence, the hearing of the hit-and-run case has been postponed again for January 2013.
