Ghazal singer Bhupinder Singh disagrees with those who say that classical music and ghazals are on the decline due to falling numbers of listeners. In fact, he says the youths make the biggest chunk of ghazal lovers.
“The younger generation listens to classical music and ghazals. If you go to a ghazal concert, there are no old people. In fact, middle-aged and young school and college-going people are present. They have beautiful requests,” Bhupinder said here Friday.
