Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the longest running show on Television. With the lessons and the humours that it comes with, the SonyLiv’s show has managed to garner a place for itself till date in every household. Fans went haywire when they heard the news of one of the lead actors, Disha Vakani, quitting the show but the latest is that the makers have halted the search for new Dayaben. Read on to know why!

According to a report by Telly Chakkar, the makers are in no hurry and are willing for find the perfect fit. “The team is not in hurry to bring Dayaben back in the show. Also, they are on the look out for an actor who can play the role to perfection. The team is inviting known actors and fresh faces for the auditions,” revealed a source close to the development.

Moreover, the team currently has something more exciting coming up and hence, no body is willing to diver their focus from it. Taarak Mehta is completing its 11-year-run on July 28th and a big celebration is on the cards!

“The cast and crew are excited as the show will complete 11 years of its run on 28th July. They are planning to celebrate this big day with a grand celebration,” further reveals the sources.

One thing is for sure, the team definitely knows to let bygones be bygones and enjoy what’s in the present!

Hopefully, we’ll get to see a perfect fit for Disha Vakani’s character but we definitely are going to miss the original beauty!
