Stranger Things Fan Theory Suggests That Will Byers Is Gay, Read On!

Stranger Things has been one of the most loved shows ever since it started streaming on Netflix. The supernatural show and its characters have made a special place in the heart of the audience and everyone is now just waiting for its season 4 to arrive.
Meanwhile, continuing the trend of sharing show related trivia and fan theories with you, here we are with an interesting one.
As per a fan theory, Will Byers played by Noah Schnapp could be gay. Shocked? Well, continue to read to know why they say what they say.
There’s a scene in the Season 3 Episode 3 titled The Case of the Missing Lifeguard when Will craves to play with his buddies Mike & Lucas but they want to hang out with their girlfriends Eleven & Max respectively. This makes Will furious and he leaves the house. Mike follows him outside and both of them have a heated discussion in the rain. Here Mike says, “It’s not my fault if you don’t like girls” That takes Will aback and he’s like shocked for a moment or even trapped where he doesn’t know what to say.

People really believe that it could be an easter egg which will be developed as a subplot in Season 4. What makes their belief even stronger is the fact that Stranger Things hasn’t shied away from accepting diversity. Remember the scene when Steve proposes Robin who reveals to him that she is interested in girls instead.
Well, we are not sure about the sexuality of Will and anything about it may or may not come out in season 4 so we all ‘Will’ have to wait for that. Meanwhile, there’s a contradictory theory as well which says that Will has faced a lot of trauma while staying in Upside Down and that may have paused his emotional growth. And that’s why he just feels comfortable around the people he knows already.
