A few weeks ago, a clip of Neha Dhupia from Roadies went viral on social media platforms, where the actress slammed a contestant for being physically abusive towards his girlfriend, who was committing adultery. The actress’ ‘her choice’ comment received a lot of backlash, and she’s finally opening up about it all.
For the unversed, the contestant revealed about slapping his girlfriend post he got to know that he was cheating on him with five other men. To this, Neha Dhupia in the clip was even heard saying that it’s the girl’s choice and maybe the problem lies with the guy.
Now, in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the Roadies team leader opened up about the row as, “In the light of doing TV, which is reality, there are some things said because you feel strongly about it. There was one such incident which unfortunately, just a small chunk of what I said was kind of highlighted whereas what I was trying to imply was the fact that under no circumstances, is domestic violence okay and therefore, only half of it was picked up and I was trolled extensively as I am still being. Honestly, whatever I had to say, I took time and put it out in a statement and I still stand by it.”
