Filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s period actioner RRR has been making noise ever since its inception. The magnum opus featuring Tollywood superstars Ram Charan and Jr.NTR happens to be one of the most anticipated releases in the Indian film industry. The film which was initially slated to release in monsoon this year was postponed to 8th January 2021 following the delay in shoot due to various reasons.
Now as per a report from Tollywood.net, fans may have to wait even longer i.e till summer next year to catch up with the period actioner on the big screen because of the current health crisis.
As per the same report, RRR has many foreign actors, and international technicians and its almost impossible for them to fly down to India amid lockdown which may be extended further by the government in the coming days due to a rapid increase in Coronavirus cases in the country.

Plus, the film has heavy-duty VFX and graphic scenes which can only be done and possible with the use of heavy machinery. For which it will also require an extended amount of time during post productional works.
