Actor Jaya Prakash Reddy passed away early Tuesday following a heart attack at the age of 74. The actor, who is a prominent name in Telugu cinema, breathed his last at his residence in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
As per reports, Reddy collapsed in his bathroom. He began his career with Brahmaputrudu (1988). He gained prominence with Balakrishna starrer Samarasimha Reddy.
Many actors and prominent personalities from the Telugu industry poured in their condolences for Jaya Prakash Reddy.

Jaya Prakash Reddy gained prominence for his villainous and comedy roles in the Telugu film industry. His most noticeable roles include those in popular films include Ready, Kick, Samarasimha Reddy, Preminchukundam Raa, Narasimha Naidu, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and many more. The actor was last seen in Mahesh Babu-starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020).
