Amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, WWE’s Wrestlemania 36 turned out to be quite an interesting edition, if not the greatest one. The company tried its best to incorporate intriguing gimmicks to compensate for the absence of a live audience. One of the high points was the first-ever Boneyard match between The Undertaker and AJ Styles. By scoring the victory in dominating style, the deadman glimpsed us that there’s a lot of fuel left in him but his recent post has an altogether different message to proclaim.
Mark Calaway, popularly known by his wrestling name ‘The Undertaker’, shared a heart-melting post through his Instagram handle and it’s very much a hint that he is all set to take his gloves off. He shared a post-match still with a caption, which saddened all his fans. Along with the picture he wrote, “It was a hell of a ride! #BoneyardMatch #WrestleMania #30years”.
Well before the fixture of Wrestlemania 36, there were several rumours about the phenom’s retirement and seems like he very much made it official through his latest post.
Speaking about his glorious run in Wrestlemania, the veteran lost just two matches out of all 27 he played. He suffered a defeat against Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. His first Wrestlemania victory came against Jimmy Snuka in 1991. In the latest edition, he revamped his American badass character with a motorbike, which was the hell of a moment for all WWE fans.
