Sonakshi Sinha To Replace Katrina Kaif in Welcome 2?

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer 2007 film Welcome was a spectacular feat. Immensely popular, the film established the amazing on screen chemistry of Akshay and Katrina. Sources suggest that this Anees Bazmee film whose sequel is soon expected to go on floors will star Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role.

While many leading dailies reported that Akshay Kumar was replaced by hunk John Abraham from the lead role, the news just of Katrina being replaced by Sonakshi just leaked out.

Katrina Kaif has carved out an undisputed space for herself in Bollywood and Sonakshi Sinha with the interesting roles she is bagging is making quite an impression as well. Sinha can take credit for grabbing a role that had erstwhile belonged to Katrina.

Though the Akshay-Katrina chemistry is gravely missed by audiences, the undiscovered on screen pairing of John and Sonakshi in the masala comedy flick will be an interesting thing to look out for!
