Angelina Jolie has had a tough time in love. The actress married 3 men – Jonny Lee Miller, Billy Bob Thornton & Brad Pitt. But none of the weddings lasted for more than 3 years. The last one being with Brad, did you know the actress had the worst phase of her life? Below is the scoop!
For the unversed, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sparked romance on the sets of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The actor was already married to Jennifer Aniston back then. However, the latter duo split. That began the journey of Brangelina, who finally got married in 2014. They split post 2 years, which left the Salt actress devastated.
Angelina Jolie revealed about it herself in an interview in 2017. Blessed with 6 kids along with Pitt, she revealed to how the family was coming to terms with whatever went wrong. But the heartbreaking part of it all was when Angelina said she would cry under the shower.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, the Salt actress said, “I do not want my children to be worried about me. I think it’s very important to cry in the shower and not in front of them.” She also shared that her hair had started to grey and joked about how it could be because of the difficult year she had.
Brangelina is parents to six children – Maddox, Zahara, Knox, Pax, Vivienne, and Shiloh. Three of the are adopted while the rest are biological.
It is believed that tensions amid the father and eldest son Maddox, made Angelina take the tough decision. A fallout between the two in a private jet triggered the actress’ decision.
But wait, that’s not it. Jolie also shared what she misses the most about Brad Pitt. “Decorating and house stuff. That was always Brad’s thing.” Isn’t that adorable?
