Thor: Ragnarok saw the never-seen-before avatar of God of Thunder. We are not only talking about the funny side of Chris Hemsworth’s character but also 2 different hairstyles. Directed by Taika Waititi, the film is cited as one of the funniest Marvel films.
Last year, Marvel announced its phase 4 and Thor: Love and Thunder starring Chris Hemsworth will be releasing in the year 2022. Taika Watiti is directing the movie and ever since the announcement, there have been so many speculations about the same.
As soon as the pandemic gets over, Thor: Love and Thunder team will start with the filming. So, we all remember Chris Hemsworth’s look from Thor: Ragnarok which was released in 2017. It received a great response but there’s more that went behind the scenes for the same.
Chris Hemsworth’s character initially in the movie has long hair, remember? Well, that’s what is making headlines today. Andy Park, Marvel Studios’ director of visual development came up with two looks for Chris’ Thor: Ragnarok. On Instagram, Andy shared the first long hair look for Chris’ character. He came up with an entirely different image of the ‘God Of Thunder’ with a scruffy beard, shoulder-length hair. This unseen art makes God of Thunder look like an old man.
Andy Park shared the first look on his Instagram and wrote, “Quarantined Thor? Old Man Thor? No, this is actually the most extreme concept version I came up with on how scruffy our Lord of Thunder could look like in Thor: Ragnarok. @taikawaititi wanted a different & road-worn looking Thor that hasn’t groomed himself in some time. I knew it was too far but that’s what you gotta do in concept art- give the director & producers the range of options so they could feel confident in the direction they choose. Imagine, if Thor looked like any of these. Chris would have still nailed it the film, that’s one thing for sure.
